Small talk again

A couple of small things from McMini.

A propos of McMini’s current dinosaur obsession, as I dropped him off at preschool he said.

Mummy, you will be careful today won’t you?”
“Of course I will.”
“I am afraid something will happen to you.”
“I’m sure I’ll be alright, I’m big and ugly enough to look after myself.”
“I am worried you will be eaten by a spinosaurus.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll be very careful.”

This evening I found him grinding parsley into the carpet with a plastic power tool.

What are you doing?” I asked him.
“I am planting this so I can grow more drills.”

Mmm… Later he was distressed to find the parsley had miraculously disappeared (becasue his mother had binned it) and requested more. McOther wisely refused.
