More Small Talk
Getting McMini dressed the other day I had managed to get him in trousers socks and shoes almost immediately (no mean feat — or should that be feet, oh ho ho). Then he ran off. I should point out that he runs everywhere.
“Hang on there small fry. We haven’t finished.“
“No Mummy, it is OK. I am dressed.“
“On the contrary kiddo, you’re only half dressed.“
“It is alright. I will wear this. I am done dressing.“
“No you can’t go out in your pyjama top. Let’s get your shirt on. Go on, skin a rabbit.“
“No Mummy, I am too tired, I do not have the energy.” said McMini and ran off as fast as he can go, guffawing.
